To reward her Beginner class for their dedication to learning English, Mildred took them on a trip to the Islamic Arts Museum last November. In the morning, the students set off on foot to the Museum, which is located just 10 minutes away.
They spent an interesting day looking at art from Islamic civilizations and learning more about the many different cultures that practice Islam around the world. As usual, the students were busy posing, snapping pictures and having a great time. Lots of fun was had and plenty of English was spoken all day!
KELS VISIT THE ISLAMIC ARTS MUSEUM (Aug '09)
On the 8th of August, the Beginner and Elementary classes visited the Islamic Arts Museum nearby, led by Kalpana and Michael. Students not only enjoyed viewing the various Islamic art from around the world, but also found it refreshing to be outside the class for a change. Lots of pictures were taken, and plenty of fun was had by all.
It was great to be outside among trees and flowers
